Hello William
Thanks for letting me look at your tree. I found that Darius was my great, great grandfather and his sister Sarah Ann Parker, who married Henry Robinson, went on to have Charlotte who married John Mason, known to me as Aunt Lottie and Uncle Jack, they both lived in Whissonsett, were I first visited at three month's old. My mother, brothers and sisters used to go every summer for the shcool holidays, as did both my aunts, and my mother cooked and cleaned for her Uncle Alfred who never married but lived at Well Cottage. As far as I know this was the family home.
My mother's name was Beatrice Alderton and her mother Susanna Parker married her cousin, William Alderton, who I believe followed her family up to Sheffield. I am not sure, but my mother used to say that both her grandmother's were sisters, I am not quite sure which ones. Her brothers were - William, Robert, Joseph ( who died at 22) Alfred, Arthur (who married but did not have any children). I can just remember Uncle Arthur, who was a gamekeeper. and Uncle Alfred died about 1954.
Hope this is of interest to you.
Dorothy
