EXPERIENCE August 2000 - July 2003 ASB BANK, Ltd (Member of the Australasian Commonwealth Bank Group) Planning & Development, Corporate & Institutional Banking. Level 9, ASB BANK Centre, Cnr Albert & Wellesley Streets, Auckland, New Zealand.Permanent: BUSINESS ANALYST· As a BUSINESS ANALYST, I was responsible for Business Analysis and Project Management support for the following ASB BANK business units: Equity Broking Division (ASB SECURITIES, Ltd)· Treasury, Financial & Global Markets · Global, Corporate & Institutional BankingAs my role supported a number of business units, it was critical that I understood their business requirements in order to identify and provide timely solution options. To do this, I was required to have a thorough understanding of their general business and the services they provided. With a strong background in Equity Trading & Settlement Systems, the majority of my work involved the facilitation of change within ASB SECURITIES products and systems, with a view to improving efficiency and effectiveness. As my role was not closely supervised I was required to manage various relationships with software developers, external vendors and various business units with responsibility for efficient project management of these resources. I took pride in maintaining responsibility for my own work standards and for managing my own workload, in particular by negotiation with appropriate senior management staff as to the nature and timing of business analysis and project deliverables. An in-depth technical and functional understanding of Securities and Treasury systems was also a requirement of my position.Listed below is a sample of some of the projects for which I have been responsible for over the last 16 months. December 2000 - December 2001 ALTSCAPE, Ltd (Internet & New Media Start-Up) Systems Design & Development Group Contract: BUSINESS ANALYST / PROJECT MANAGER· As a BUSINESS ANALYST / PROJECT MANAGER for ALTSCAPE, Ltd I was contracted to provide Business Analysis and Project Management support for this start-up business.Essential to the success of this start-up was the development of a multi-platform media management client application which communicated content requests to an online database. This functionality was also accessible via a client facing website. The business analysis, documentation of business requirements, and technical design specifications for the website and client applications', through to the project management and delivery of these components was my responsibility. These were all successfully delivered on time and within budget. Unfortunately in August 2002 insufficient second round funding was able to be obtained. The business has since ceased its operations.
