Individual Note:
     Educated at Wakefield Girls High School. Worked as Children's Nurse to Count and Countess de Sieyes de Vienmes, travelling with them to Paris, France in the summer and Atlanta, Georgia, USA in the winter. Contracted motor neuron disease in 1962, diagnosed after breaking her foot whilst on holiday. Her deteriorating condition confined her to a wheelchair with very little physical ability, although mentally she was perfectly sound. She died in Barnet Hospital, Hertfordshire after contracting pneumonia due to her weakened condition.

Studied Photography at The London School of Printing and Graphic Arts. Family moved to Boreham Wood HERTS 1963. John returned to West London 1969. Emigrated to Sydney NSW AUSTRALIA 1973, departing Southampton on board Chandris Lines SS Britannis, March 31, Arrived Sydney April 27. Lived in Bondi until moving to Colyton April 1975.
